Baseball leagues and programs at the Y are designed to teach young baseball players the fundamentals of the game. Participants will learn how to catch, throw, and bat in a fun team atmosphere.
Formats include t-ball, coach-pitch and player-pitch and are open to kids ages 3 to 12. The focus of the league is to have fun, meet new friends and play in a non-competitive environment. Each participant will receive a game jersey.
Youth baseball at the YMCA is an exciting sport combining team play and individual skills. YMCA youth baseball promises no try outs, no getting cut and no bench warmers! Every child plays at least half of every game while making friends and learning new techniques.
YMCA Youth Sports Programs help kids become not only better players, but better people as well. It's a progressive program, with multiple age-specific levels. Every child gets to play and the games are safe, exciting and fun. We encourage fair play, positive competition, and family involvement.
Baseball is played seasonally at the YMCA at select locations. If no program is available, the season is closed.
