Running at the Y
Running, jogging and even walking have positive effects both mentally and physically. Whether you are just starting out or a seasoned athlete, the YMCA of the Suncoast has a variety of options throughout the year to help individuals achieve their running goals, lose weight or just meet new people.
Are you a strong runner who enjoys the challenge of working out to improve your 5K time at local races? Are you a distance runner who prefers endurance to see how long you can push your body? Or are you interested in running but have never really known how to begin safely? Try one of our run clubs or groups.

Most locations have "unofficial" running clubs that meet to run together for safety and motivation. Check with the member services desk at your Y for meeting times and locations. All levels are welcome.
